ACL surgery

ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT SURGERY

• ACL ops are carried out usually on Wednesdays, and the patients are released next day afternoon

• The following program has been designed for abroad patients: Arrival at Zagreb airport on a day before surgery where our staff collect the patients and transfer them to the pre-booked accommodation. Next day, the patient is taken to the local Dr Nemec hospital for pre op exams and operation. Assuming all tests are negative, the patient goes to the OR.

• The price for a ACL is 3.120 € .

This price includes:

a) pre-op orthopedic examination (by Prof Nemec),

b) pre-op anesthesiologist examination

c) pre-op blood and cardio examination

d) pre-op x-ray (bearing in mind that the x-rays radiographs brought by the patient may be out-of-date or taken from a less than ideal angle/distance or not clear enough),

e) operation,

f) board and accommodation (2 days 1 night),

g) all drugs and medication administered during the op and stay,

h) anesthetists and anesthetic drugs.

• Following the release from our orthopedic Hospital the patient is transported to the nearby Center for physical therapy where two weeks is spent undergoing a bespoke physiotherapy program.

Daily price (in Center for physical therapy) includes:

a) accommodation (patient chooses shared or single room),

b) twice daily physiotherapy with exercises,

c) full board (3 meals),

d) regular check-ups by medical professionals.

Additional costs:

Crutches & knee orthosis: 280 €

• Transfer from airport to the Hospital and back: 300 €

• Transfers from Center for physical therapy to the Orthopedic Hospital Dr Nemec and back during your stay: FREE OF CHARGE

• All taxes are included in the price quoted.

Location:

• We’ll waiting at the Zagreb airport and transfer you to the Center for physical therapy according to the program. Both Hospitals are near City of Rijeka at the Adriatic coast, aprox 100 miles south-west of Zagreb. You’ll be transferred by high class car with English speaking driver.
